CONTEXT

Our team has just joined the software publisher ProSoft. We need to develop backup software which is part of the "EasySave" project, so it is our responsibility to manage this project.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

In this project, we had several requests from the CHU :

Patient consultation rate at facility X over time period Y.
Patient consultation rate in relation to diagnosis X over a period of time Y.
Overall patient hospitalization rate in a given period Y.
Rate of patient hospitalizations versus diagnoses over a period of time.
Rate of hospitalization/consultation by sex, by age.
Consultation fees per professional.
Number of deaths by location (region) and over the year 2019.
Overall satisfaction rate region for the year 2020.

From these requests, we had to create a Star data model.

Then, we had to insert several data into a Hive database using Talend software.

Then we had to create a dashboard in power BI to display the different data.

During this project, we learned how to use Talend, manage big data, and how to use Power BI.

OPINION ON THE PROJECT

I think this project was very rewarding, it allowed me to discover Big Data.
